Period homes across Sydney are disappearing to new development. As heritage tile specialists, we're spotlighting the facades and features still standing across the city. First up: Annandale, in Sydney's inner west, home to some of the city's finest character-rich homes.

Annandale has one of the highest concentrations of Federation and Late Victorian architecture in Sydney. A number of these homes are classified by the National Trust of Australia.

Many of the tessellated tile paths & verandahs you see here in Annandale date back over 130 years. Others have been lovingly restored, and many by us at Olde English Tiles, including the homes below.

Victorian Italianate villa - restored with our Manchester pattern.

Victorian cottage - restored with a custom pattern.

Victorian terrace - restored with our Nottingham pattern.
