As the longest established hotel in Coolamon Shire, the Coolamon Hotel holds a special place in the community's heart. For the new owners—who grew up in Coolamon—this iconic building represented childhood memories and local heritage.
Steeped in history and countless stories, the Coolamon Hotel first opened its doors in 1880, serving as the town's central gathering place for generations. After an ambitious five-year restoration, this beloved landmark has been beautifully revived, combining its original character with contemporary refinement.
Olde English Tiles played a key role in the hotel's transformation, supplying the floor and wall tiles. The striking Astoria mosaic pattern takes center stage throughout the venue and graces the dining room floor and bar surrounds, while our hand-glazed sage and white 150 x 75mm wall tiles create an elegant backdrop in the bathrooms. Together, these elements honor the hotel's rich past while ensuring its place in Coolamon's future.
